* High-efficiency metal sorting at scrap yards
The Eccentric Eddy Current Separator (E-CCS) is engineered for high-efficiency recovery of non-ferrous metals from dry, bulk, and irregular-shaped material streams. With an eccentrically mounted high-frequency rotor and advanced eddy current technology, it separates aluminum, copper, brass, and other non-ferrous metals efficiently. This ensures protection of downstream equipment, optimized production flow, and maximized metal recovery.
Eccentric Rotor & Pole Configuration
The offset rotor creates fluctuating magnetic fields that enhance the repulsion of non-ferrous metals. This design improves separation efficiency for granular, sheet-like, fragmentary, and fibrous materials.
High-Frequency Eddy Current Technology
Utilizing rare-earth or high-grade ferrite magnets, the system generates strong magnetic fields, effectively separating non-ferrous metals even in fine or irregular-shaped particles.
Dry and Granular Material Handling
Optimized for dry and bulk materials, this separator eliminates the need for water or slurry, reducing maintenance and contamination risks.
Custom Conveyor Integration
Supports integration with existing conveyor systems. Customizable features include belt width, rotor diameter, feed velocity, and magnet strength for optimal performance across material types and shapes.
Robust Construction & Maintenance-Friendly Design
Built for continuous industrial operation, the separator features a heavy-duty steel frame, wear-resistant shell, easy access panels, and optional self-cleaning rotor or discharge cleaning systems.
Energy-Efficient Operation
Permanent magnet and eddy current technology minimize energy consumption while maintaining high separation performance.

Q1: What materials can Eccentric Eddy Current Separator handle?
A: Designed for dry, granular, sheet-like, fragmentary, and fibrous non-ferrous metal streams, including aluminum, copper, brass, and other mixed metals.
Q2: How does the eccentric rotor improve separation?
A: The rotor creates fluctuating magnetic fields, enhancing the throw of non-ferrous metals and improving efficiency for irregularly shaped materials.
Q3: Can the separator be customized?
A: Yes. Models can be tailored for belt width, rotor diameter, magnet strength, feed speed, and mounting orientation to suit your production line.
Q4: Is it suitable for wet materials?
A: No. It is optimized for dry material applications. Wet or slurry materials require specialized equipment.
Q5: What industries benefit most?
A: Recycling, e-waste processing, scrap metal recovery, aluminum can sorting, and plastic granule or sheet lines.
Eccentric Eddy Current Separators are specifically designed for non-ferrous metal separation and should not be used for magnetic ferrous materials, as these may cause damage to the equipment. It is strongly recommended to install magnetic separators before the eddy current separator to remove ferrous metals first.
The Non-ferrous metal eddy current separator integrates a high-intensity magnetic drum with the existing eddy current separator, installing it beneath the vibrating feeder and ahead of the eddy current separation unit. Material is uniformly fed through the vibrating feeder to the magnetic drum, where ferrous impurities are first removed.
The remaining non-ferrous materials (including aluminum, copper) and non-metallic substances (such as plastics) then proceed to the eddy current separation zone for final sorting between valuable non-ferrous metals and non-metallic waste.

The MSWDL-D-S Eccentric Eddy Current Separator integrates three critical separation functions – non-ferrous metal sorting, ferrous impurity removal, and stainless steel separation – into a single unified system. This innovative configuration not only resolves the inherent limitation of conventional eddy current separators in stainless steel recovery, but also significantly reduces both the number of required machines and their physical footprint at operational sites. The system achieves multi-stage material separation through one consolidated unit, delivering enhanced processing efficiency while optimizing space utilization.
